Rebuilt between 1992 - 2004, with interiors inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Kennedy Compound, c1929, provides the family with many memorable moments during the summers, and occasionally in the winters. The two "cottages" and main residence occupies relatively sizeable acreage in this quiet community, started by the scions of the Canada Packers from nearby Fenelon Falls about 100 years ago; where now, notable neighbours in the Canadian establishment abound. The modest Sail Club, pictured below, has produced three Olympic sailors. Professionally landscaped, with majestic trees shielding the summer sun whether one is at play on the grounds or at rest in one of the several stone patios before or after a dip in the lake. The property has a 396' peninsula waterfrontage, with two docks and a boat house. Unlike some of the other vacation spots, 300 amps provides ample juice for a home entertainment system and cable access provides high speed access to the rest of the world.

For external diversion, a 9 hole golf course is almost walking distance away. For a more reflective moment, an interfaith chapel, pictured below, is also walking distance away. Within a half an hour radius, there is the Eganridge Spa in Fenelon Falls, Academy Theatre in Lindsey as well as the Kinmount Fair.

It is of interest to note that all the wood used for rebuilding the main residence are from the compound and crafted in the wood working shop in the lower level.
